Job Description:
A well established, highly stable, and consistently growing Southwestern Pennsylvania manufacturer seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to design special machines for industrial use. The selected individual will work closely with customers to assure accuracy and customer satisfaction. This position can lead to a supervisory/managerial position in 2-3 years. Travel is 15% and an average work week is around 50 hours.
Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have a 4-year degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline, with very strong “pro-e” skills and 5+ years of special machinery design. Hydraulics experience is a major plus. A drug and criminal background check is required.
Salary:
Annual salary is 70-80k per year, along with a competitive benefits package that includes relocation.
